Poem called fight for our rights
Tears are brought eyes reading the harrowing stories on local news pages of my fellow people with disabilities are having to face on a daily basis is bringing me to disappear.
I truly wish the government would have someone who has an actual disability so they could understand what a disabled person has faced in their daily lives.
Each day we face a challenge in our own lives.
Please listen to our come through and be heard by those in government.
It feels like we still have to fight for our rights
There are nights when I am unable to sleep worrying about these things
I wish I had a magic wand to make this dispear
But this fear is so real
The metaphoric wounds will never heal
I appeal to those to bring change and lighten the worries on our heads
And lets us sleeps peacefully at night for once not having to worry
Please bring it before too late if the government wait and watch.
It's about taking action now and allowing the situation to worsen and making your decision not to act wrong we could detrimentally affect which in many years to comes.
So I ask those in government please step up and have enough of just standing still by this government and hiding in the shadows and seeing their own faces.
