When can I get it backdated to?

This is a complete long shot and I doubt that it would be possible but I thought I’d ask the question anyway. So I was receiving PIP standard daily living for a few years up until December 2019 when they sent a review and stopped my claim. At this point I didn’t appeal it. However I applied again in May last year and was refused it on the initial claim but then I took it all the way to tribunal this time and won and got my standard daily living back. Could I possibly get it backdated to 2019 or is it just possible to get it backdated to last year? Both claims have been for the same conditions

No you can’t backdate to 2019. The tribunal decision will apply from your new claim in May 2021.0

Hi again @Jiggypeace I hope Poppy's reply has helped to reassure you, even if it wasn't the answer you might have been hoping for.
Is there anything else we can help with at all?
