Adjourned tribunal new hearing date

Good afternoon all, hope u are enjoying the beautiful weather.  Well i just wanted to update u. i have now received a hearing datefor my hearing its on the 9th September i am abit worried as the first hearing didn't go too well.

    Good afternoon @1977young and yes, but I hope you're staying nice and cool too! Thanks for updating everyone with the new date, we wish you all the best for a positive outcome.

    I think it's natural to feel a bit nervous when we've had negative past experiences, but there's no reason why things won't be different this time around. 

    Do you feel okay with preparing for it?

    Yes i hope so as i was told it will be a new panel so hopefully i will have a positive outcome this time.

    Good afternoon all, hope everyone is doing fine. I just wanted some advice as i received a letter from the tribunal people saying they have added new evidence to my case and that is my new pip application i made i am now worried i don't know if it's a good thing or not

    Any information sent to the tribunal service (by you or DWP) will automatically be added as new evidence.

    Ok because it is the new application i did they added I'm just worried this new application will go against the appeal

    It will depend on when your conditions got worse, as wasn't that the reason you started a new claim?

    No i started a new claim because i was told by the judges to start a new claim for a newer condition.

    Although PIP isn't awarded based on the conditions itself. It's how those conditions affect you against the 12 PIP activities.

    Well the new application was for my ptsd and ankle injury and i did point out how my disability affects me on each aspect well citizens advice helped me this time.

    Thanks so much. I am just so stressed with the whole process its been from Oct 2020 and my ptsd is getting worse because of all this stress i only recieve universal credit with lwcra and i am always broke by 2 weeks after i receive that.

    Are you getting any support to help you manage your PTSD @1977young? I can only imagine how the stress must be affecting you, on top on your PTSD and financial worries.

    Yes i am on medication and i have therapy with someone from mind but next week is my last session with her. It is very stressful

    I will ask the therapist next week before the last session.  I've had sepsis,  broken ankle where now i have metal plates and pins in my ankle permanently and both these happened within 4 months as well as the ptsd. I've been through so much

    It does sound as though you've been through an awful lot @1977young. You've been working hard to improve your situation, though, which I think is admirable. Let us know how you get on with asking the therapist next week :)
