Hello all, here's the story. I'm now on LCWRA, I gave fit notes 13 June and 12 August. My payment dates the 9th Sept. It will be my 4th AP. I recon I'm due dosh here, 9 Sept, 4 months? It's all very complicated, I've supplied continuous Fit notes, no gap. Dated back to when I supplied my fist fit note June 13? Cheers all.

The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. It's not paid at all during the waiting period. You sent your fit not in AP 9th June-8th July, which doesn't count because it's not a full AP. This means your waiting period is July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct.... LCWRA starts from AP 9th Oct to 8th November and first payment will be 15th November. No LCWRA element is owed.0

OK thanks for the answer, it don't sound right to me tho. I filled in all the sick notes etc and expected and was told they pay backdated separately.0

You were incorrectly informed. There is no LCWRA element owed because the waiting period applies and it’s not paid during that time. Whether it sounds right or not, it’s the law.mitch59 said:OK thanks for the answer, it don't sound right to me tho.
