Has anybody seen and signed this petition for a parliamentary review of the rate of carers which I am sure many would agree with.  It only needs 100k signatures and is well on its way, see the following link. signatures. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/617874

    Even with 100,000 signatures it’s extremely unlikely anything will come of it. They debate the issue and make a recommendation to DWP who most likely won’t listen.

    I very much understand what you are saying but I hope you will sign and share anyway, I live in hope that things will change if we keep making noise? 😀

    It says the link is down. Though I won’t be signing it because for a lot of people claiming carers allowance affects some other benefits, so even if it was increased it will make no difference, as overall benefit entitlement will still remain the same.
