Benefits and Credit Cards

Hi! I’m on ESA, Child Tax Credit & PIP. I have two credit cards and I am very worried that I’ll be in trouble with the benefits people? Are credit cards actually allowed while claiming benefits? Thank you.

There is nothing to prevent you having credit cards while on benefits (if the card provider is prepared to issue one).1
