    Not quite,@SueHeath,two of the newel caps were too big and there's still a load of varnishing to do.

    He 'might' come back on Friday.

    I'm hoping he'll be finished sometime next week @SueHeath,then it's onto finding someone to clean and restore the floor tiles in the hallway.

    Although I think finding someone to carry out the work is probably going to be a lot more bother than the work itself.

    Sounds great @Teigr sort of thing me and hubby would of taken on in our youth, yep know what your saying you can't get the trade people now days, or if you can they are exspensive xx
