Carers Allowance question

Hi All, thanks to you all i have successfully managed to claim Carers allowance and it was backdated to the day i finished work.
I have one question, i know there is an increase every April, is that linked to the triple lock or will the increase be less than what the State pension increases?

The triple lock only refers to State Pensions. Benefits more generally are usually increased in line with CPI for September so it is expected that they will rise by about 10% next April - but obviously the government can do whatever they want.Peterph said:I have one question, i know there is an increase every April, is that linked to the triple lock or will the increase be less than what the State pension increases?0 -
