Hi my grandad is pension age he was currently getting pension credit for some know reson hes pension credit had been stopped we called pension credit to find out why this is a lady on phone said that they are not sure why this is but there trying to deal with it so i ask what hes he spouse to do with out no money is there any other benefit he can get and till they sorted hes pension credit out please its total unfair to leave him with out help.

What about his state pension doesn’t he claim this? There are no other benefits he can claim that replaces these.0

Hello @marcus93 I'm sorry to hear about the issues with your grandad's pension credit, hopefully this will be resolved soon for you, as it's quite stressful without that regular payment as you say.
Is there anything you're especially worried about him not being able to afford, or something you feel he's struggling with at the moment?0 -
Yes can he claim universal credit as hes partner is younger than him0

If he lives with his partner and they are below state pension age then i don't understand how the pension credit claim was approved because a mixed aged couple can no longer claim pension credit, the rules for this changed on 15th May 2019.So, is his partner below state pension age? Why doesn't your grandfather claim state pension?
