disability premiums

in Money and bills
i had a review when dla went to pip and i was uprated to enhanced care (from low) and was already on highest for mobility,i have just been told by dwp that i should be getting disability premium and enhanced disability premium is that right and will it be backdated? thnx

    It’s extra money paid as part of some old benefits such as income based ESA.

    It depends which benefits you're claiming. The disability premiums are only payable on the old legacy benefits such as Income Related ESA/JSA or Income Support.
