Metro bank has closed my account so the bacs payment sent to the bank was sent back to universal credit.
I phoned the operator of universal credit and they said that, they can't see anything on there computer so can't tell me if the money has bounced back.
And my next appointment to confirm my new bank details is on Friday 30th September.
Has this happened anyone else were they said. They can't see anything on there computer

It will take quite a few days to bounce back and for UC to receive it. Another payment won't be issued until this has happened. Are you able to go to your local Job centre Monday morning and take proof of your bank account? They maybe able to take that from you without an appointment, just explain what's happened when you get there.

Hi @sonik and thanks for reaching out this morning, I'm sorry to hear what's happened. I've moved your post over into our universal credit category so that it's easier for our members to share their thoughts.
As poppy has advised, it would be helpful to go to the job centre directly and flag it with them so that they are aware, and can help to resolve things as soon as possible.
Let us know how you get on with this, and if you need anything else, please ask
