Hi I hope everyone is well haven’t been on here in a while, I’ve finally had a diagnoses my back went completely Wednesday and I couldn’t get up or walk without assistance finally after years they gave me an MRI I have 2 s4 and s5 (sorry if that’s the wrong term) bulging discs may need surgery my pip claim I only scored 8 points and get the lowest on erm everyday living and 4 for mobility, my mobility has gone downhill drastically in the mean time and I cannot leave the house until my privately bought zimmer walker arrives this week (I’m 31!) anyway do I make a new claim? And also my ex partner helps care for me if He apply for carers allowence do I loose money? Thanks guys x

You cannot make a new PIP claim because you already have an award. If you want to be reassessed you would need to contact PIP and tell them you have had a change of circumstances. You will then be sent a new health questionnaire following which you will have a new assessment and after that they will make a new decision regarding your award. The whole award will be reviewed.
Before reporting a change you need to be clear whether you think you could score enough points to change your award.
I can see from other threads that you are also on UC. If somebody claims Carer's Allowance for looking after you it makes no difference to your benefit entitlement.
