Hi I’m looking for some advice I was on LCW for two yeas in February 2021 I notified UC about a change of health condition. I spent months talking to work coaches and on my journal to various people at UC
they all came back saying no fit note needed and if an assessment was needed the computer would pick this up.
in June 2022 I still sent messages asking if anything was needed to answer was still no. This had been 18 months if me asking them.
in July 2022 they then requested a fit note which I got and filled out the ud50 form. I have been awarded LCWRA. Everything is on my journal where they said I didn’t need anything.

Does anyone know if I will get any back pay for my last 18months of them not supplying the correct information to me.
thank you

If the change is in response to you reporting a change the LCWRA should be backdated to when you reported the change.0

Hi yes I put the change on my journal in Feb 2021 I chased them until July 2022 which means I lost months of payments as UC didn’t give correct information to me it took them 18 months to ask me to get a fit note0
