Entitlement to £150 disability payment?

I was awarded PIP in August 2022. But started the claim in 2021. Would I be entitled to the £150 disability payment?

    If the PIP award starts from 2021 you will be entitled to the £150 disability payment.

    Applied in 2021 and wasn’t awarded until August 2022. So this means that I qualify for the payment?

    Doesn’t matter when the decision was made, it depends on the start date of the award which is presumably whatever date you applied in 2021 which means that advised

    Thank you for mentioning that. Yes, the money was all back dated. 

    @calcotti I applied in June 2021. Just it says everyone should receive the payment September and no payment yet so I wasn’t sure. I was awarded in August 2022.

    Hello, 

    I still haven’t received the £150 disability payment. I applied for PIP in June 2021 and was awarded in August 2022. Just wondering if I should contact the DWP to enquire about the payment? As I assume I entitled to it….
