I have lots going on in my life at the moment not In a good way and may need the help of many of you in the near future. I am currently on long term sick from work my ssp has run out and my pay from work is due to end in November at which point my earnings will be zero. I have applied for universal credit, pip, and new style ESA. I am currently trying to gauge what I would get from the 3 benefits I have applied for and see if there is anything else I can claim as pip and universal credit including the housing element only just cover my rent as I am a private Tennant.

ESA is deducted in full from your Universal Credit. You could also look at Council Tax Support and if UC don’t pay your full rent you can look in to a discretionary housing payment from your local authority. You also may be entitled to the second cost of living payment, although not confined yet.Check further entitlements here:

I'm sorry to hear that things are difficult for you at the moment. Would you like to tell us a little bit more about that?
