Anyone on here into Halloween and have you got any plans for it.

Also any real life ghost stories to tell.

It's never too early for Halloween ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ๐ŸŽƒ

Me neither Cartini. I try get out on halloween though as my street gets very busy and saves me the annoyance, bought a big bag of sweets once and put them in a bucket outside but gone in 10 minutes.

@Grinchy I always enjoy the spooky movies. I'm watching the x files right now some scary episodes ๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป

@woodbine I've never enjoyed the fireworks. I do like the big bonfire and people gathered around on a cold night.

@bg844 hopefully you can bring your own chainsaw this year ๐Ÿ˜œ

@Sandy_123 I'd like to go to a Halloween party this year I haven't been to one in years. But I also enjoy just watching some scary movies and and a takeaway lol

@cartini I usually leave a bowl of sweets and chocs at the door there's nothing left when I check later in the night๐Ÿคฃ probs someone just takes them all๐Ÿคท

That`s just made me chuckle. I have an image in my head of loads of kids sticking their heads into the bucket akin to pigs around a trough.

I will get some treats for kiddies knocking the door. I always engage with them saying things like omg your so scary etc

@Sandy_123 that's the original way of doing it. Just too many people knocking on my door rather just leave the sweets outside ๐Ÿ™‚

I donโ€™t open the door unless expecting someone and even then I find it hard and often donโ€™t.

My family donโ€™t mind opening the door and giving out sweets to young children and like @Sandy_123 they say things to them like โ€œyou scared me!!โ€.

However they are not keen on older children/teenagers knocking for sweets. I think their unofficial rule is if the kids are old enough to be out alone without an adult, they are too old to go trick-or-treating.

I really like the autumn and the long lead up to Christmas but we donโ€™t put sweets out for the kids, especially not this year because Iโ€™m on a diet. Perhaps theyโ€™d enjoy some carrot sticks instead? ๐Ÿคฃ

I bought some last year in case we had any visitors, but no one came round. Which meant that we ended up eating a load of sweets ourselves!
