PIP form

Hi everyone,
Just curious, a friend's brother received a pip review form (his award runs out in may 2023),he's adamant the form is not for him,(even though it had his name, ni number etc on). He says it's his sister's form. So,he rang up PIP & queried it,he says that they supposedly told him that his sister's details came up on the screen, would this be possible? He was told to send form back saying wrong info. His sister phoned up & was told her form was absolutely fine ( her form had been in since march & she has had 2 texts to say that they still have her form & there's no problems).
This doesn't make sense, has anyone else experienced this? Or is it just him being in denial?

If it has his name and NI number in it then it has to be his lol. As his award is due to end in May 2023 then yes his review is due.0

Hi,
I have just heard that my PIP award has been automatically extended until 10th January 2024, because of the backlog. I rang PIP as my award was meant to end tomorrow & I queried how my review form was progressing,as I was very anxious because I hadn't heard anything since December.0 -

There are currently long delays with review decisions so they're extending awards until the decision is made. Any new decision will overrule your current award.

Hi everyone,
I finally had my PIP review assessment today,it lasted 1hr 15mins. It went past quite quickly. The assessor came across as nice & patient especially as I was getting frustrated by some of the ridiculous questions, although there was some times she seemed to rush through before I could answer.
There was 2 examples when she seemed to struggle with my North East accent ( she was Scottish).
She asked me when I did I fill my form in & she was shocked to hear it was 13 months ago ( I don't know why,as there's others that have waited longer!)
She said it would take about 8 weeks.
I have had a message since saying that the report has been sent to the DWP & could take 6 weeks.
So, I guess it's just a waiting game.0
