Hi @donut61 :) I'm sorry to hear that you felt as though you'd committed a crime. Is that because of how you were treated during your telephone appeal?

Do you mind me asking what stage of the appeals process you're at?

Are you saying you've had your hearing for the work capability assessment decision and the Tribunal didn't change the decision?

Have you looked at the descriptors for LCW and LCWRA? If not you can see them both in these links.
They assess your ability to do any type of work. If it was me then i'd find a different advice agency to check that you qualify because it's a very long process to start all over again if you don't meet the criteria. Start here https://advicelocal.uk/

You won't be able to claim New style ESA unless you've worked and paid the correct amount of NI contributions in tax years April 2019 to March 2021. Even if you could claim it, it will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement, so there's no financial gain.
If they've accepted your new fit note then it's a work coaches discretion whether they turn off or reduce your commiments because when claiming UC you are classed as a job seeker until a decision on your WCA says otherwise.
