LCWRA and Carers Element

Hello, sorry if this has been asked but I couldn't understand answers in other posts.
We jointly claim UC.
My Wife receives PIP at both standard rates and also gets LCWRA.
I work 26 hours.
I have to cook, clean, wash and dress and carry out other caring tasks when not at work (over 35hrs per week).
Would I be able to get the carer element of UC without affecting anything else.

Yes if no one is receiving any money for caring for her. Log in to your account and do a change of circumstances, when it asks about the date you started write the date your wife was awarded PIP. On your journal leave a message under payments asking if they would backdate to the date of claim as you didn’t know you was entitled. They might not backdate but worth a shot.0
