Some tips to help save money

I just thought I would share some of the things that have helped me save a little with everyday expenses. I changed to an ecoegg to do laundry, so it's a one off payment for the ecoegg instead of paying for ongoing cost of laundry liquids and powders. I fo use a stain remover I the wash to help but it's still far cheaper and better for the environment. I use white vinegar in a spray bottle with half vinegar and water with a few drops of rosemary essential oils which has antibacterial properties and it smells good and pennies to make instead of lots of cleaners. I also use bicarbonate of soda to clean my enamel sink to get rid of stains and it works very well.
I know these are not massive savings but it does help and I just thought I would share these ideas in case they help someone a little to make some savings.

Always worth knowing some extra tips, thank you @Jan1176 🙂
if you only want one one cup of tea and you have a flask, boil the full kettle and deposit the rest of the boiled water in the flask to use later. It costs almost as much to boil for one mug of teas as it does to boil a full kettle you see. I think someone else wrote something similar elsewhere.2 -
Thank you for sharing @Jan1176
How do ecoeggs work? 0 -
Tori_Scope, I'm not entirely sure how the ecoegg works but it contains mineral balls to help clean the clothes. The downside is that you don't have fragrance to your clean washing unless you use a fabric softener.0

I`ve taken this from ecoegg dot com (no advertising there
)"The surfactants in the laundry pellets lift away dirt from the fabrics because one end of the surfactant molecule is attracted to water, while the other end is attracted to dirt and grease. These surfactant molecules help water to take hold of the dirt and grease, break it up and wash it away."
