Can I get a mobility car? If so, how do you go about it?

Hi

ive been awarded the PIP

standard daily living
Enhanced mobility

i will as wondering if I can get a mobility car on the award and if so how do you go about it

    Bit off topic but when was your assessment pls and when did u get your decision?

    Assessment was in June got awarded couple of weeks ago.

    Thank you did you get a copy of your assessor report and if so did it match the outcome ?

    Hi there 

    Not a lot of point getting the report now as will be detailed in your award letter and no reason if you are not appealing 

    Yes you will be entitled to a mobility car if you have 2 years or more on your award 

    You can get details on the motability website of what to do or go to a motability car dealership

    That's not correct. You need at least 12 months remaining on your PIP award to joint the motability scheme.

    You can exchange your mobility award for a vehicle of your choice. You need to visit a dealer of your choice and take your PIP award letter with you.
    Some cars will require and advance payment before you collect your car. There could also be a very long wait for your car because of the chip shortage for vehicles.
