Hi, I am still waiting to hear from pip after sending my review off in august, but according to my previous award my pip ran out at end of September so I can’t get my blue badge, free car tax(not due till November) and disabled bus pass, I am a double above knee amputee and so really rely on these things if I am to go out. Does anyone know if there is anyway to get these while I await my review decision.
Thankyou in advance x

Phone PIP. Your award may have been extended whilst you’re waiting to be reviewed.1

When you ring PIP ask them to send you proof of your extended award (if it was extended)

Hi @leglessangel, I haven’t applied for PIP but I do have a disabled bus pass, I had an assessment a few years ago for the pass and got it for life. I don’t know if the application procedures varies through different locations.1

Thankyou everyone, I will ring pip tomorrow x0

You are welcome @leglessangel. It is the very least you deserve.
Have you managed to ring PIP yet? Just wondering how it has gone for you if you have managed to.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything else to help. We are all here for you and listening to you1 -

Finally got through to pip and a very friendly gentleman from Manchester office is sending me out a copy of my extended award which apparently they had already sent out on the 10th Jan but I never received it0

I bet that will be because of Royal Mail strikes @leglessangel
Glad you had a friendly guy when talking to the Manchester officeHopefully the letter comes though quickly this time!
