Descriptor F help as well as deadline

I need help please to understand the following: 

The descriptor refers to “a familiar journey” rather than “any familiar journey”. Accordingly, claimants can satisfy the descriptor by showing that they typically need to be accompanied by another person or an assistance dog or to use an orientation aid on the majority of days when undertaking familiar journeys (it’s not necessary to show that they need such support for every possible familiar journey on most days).

I am not understanding the last line - (it’s not necessary to show that they need such support for every possible familiar journey on most days). 

Is this regarding like within the day? Like you need support for some familiar journeys during the day and not others? I can't wrap my head around it!

Also, my deadline is on the 15th and I have yet to complete or send my form, I have already had two extensions so not sure if I can be given another one. My plan is to send it tomorrow via special delivery (guaranteed by 1pm next day) as I don't really have any other option. Is this okay to do? Thanks!

    The 50% rule applies to PIP so you must be affect for at least this amount of time over a 12 month period.

    Is it regarding 50% of days or 50% of all familiar journeys?

    I'm surprised you got an extension they refused when I was doing my renewal 5 months ago.
    I've heard this but I'm so afraid if it doesn't get there by the 15th they will cancel my whole claim. My appointee dealt with getting the extensions for me, but I did feel extremely lucky for them!

    Days, is what counts. https://pipinfo.net/issues/fluctuating-conditions However, if on the majority of the days you can't undertake any journey because of overwhelming psychological distress then 1E will apply. A claimant who satifies 1E cannot also satisfy 1F.

    I agree with woodbine about the special delivery, it doesn't mean it will arrive with DWP the following day. It will be signed for by someone from Royal Mail sorting office, not someone from DWP. It's not classed as arriving until it's been added to the computer.
    Sometimes when filling out the forms you can easily get so confused by what the descriptor means and which one you think applies to you that you lose concentration on what you should be doing.
    Just give a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you. Then give detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened and did anyone see it.
    Aim for at least half an A4 side of paper per descriptor. Then send off the form.
