Hello I already have pip I been accepted from February this year anyway.. as I am deaf my wife has to be with me to communicate etc as it difficult for me to hear what they say and also kids I cannot understand what they say etc so I applied carer allowance for my wife start February this year so I had letter saing.....
My wife apply carer allowance she caring for me I don't need do anything unless she doesn't care etc... They sent letter in 29th August how long usually take to be awarded?? I never heard back from them....

It's not unusual for it to take a few months. If she works she mustn't earn more than £132/week.

@poppy123456 sent online form somewhere in August got letter from them dated on letter say 29th August then haven't heard back normally it take 3 week right it October now... Hmm lol0

3 weeks, that's very optimistic. As i advised, 3 months is not unusual. Do you and your partner claim any other benefits?

@poppy123456 no she doesn't claim another benefit they stop universal credit cause she had over £16000 I didn't know about so dwp said they over paid £30000 they stop claim tho.. but I still get pip I applied that before they stop other benefit0
