My ADHD Personal Independence Payment argument and 'Hi Guys'

Good luck in November @Mikeb2102 with your appeal.
I was going to appeal my mandatory reconsideration decision (rejected again on pretty much the same grounds as the phone assessment) but, thanks to good old ADHD and not reading the back of the last page, I’m outside the appeal window so I guess I’ll have to start my application all over again; does anybody know if there are any restrictions on how many times you can apply in any 12 month period? Should I wait for my specialist ADHD assessment or would that make no difference at all? I got a letter 2 months ago reminding me I am still on the waiting list!
I’m feeling a bit flat at the moment - everything is just too much effort & people keep asking me to do things for them which means that even if I have got the energy to do things for me, I don’t have the time. Sorry for moaning.1 -
You actually have 13 months to appeal the decision with good reason. When you request the Tribunal you just have to tell them why you didn’t request it within the first month. It’s unlikely you will be refused being outside 1 month.prur said:I was going to appeal my mandatory reconsideration decision (rejected again on pretty much the same grounds as the phone assessment) but, thanks to good old ADHD and not reading the back of the last page, I’m outside the appeal window so I guess I’ll have to start my application all over again;Starting a new claim using the same evidence you previously used is likely to see another refusal. Though there’s no rules how many times you can reapply.0 -
Hi everyone ,
I’ve just been successful at my tribunal . I was awarded 13 points which is the enhanced rate .
DWP awarded me 0 first then 0 after the reconsideration.
The way they just disregarded my condition was so frustrating so I decided to use a pip solicitor . She was amazing and I got seated full rate and back pay from a year .
do not give in you are entitled to pip but you have to explain how it affects your daily living .
