£150 energy rebate from council

Can anyone help I’ve had a email today saying I should of received my energy rebate now from the council what is this and has any one else received this and is it todo with the council tax rebate

    The council tax rebate was also called an energy rebate because it was the first government response I intended to help with the cost of energy bills but was distributed via the council tax system.
