Hi janer1967 i have not been to the jobcentre in 3 months my fit note says not fit for work the jobcentre don't open until 10am that's my appointment time i will go just in case i get sanctioned. Im waiting for wca assessment i sent my questionnaire back i also have pip phone assessment on 2/11/20220 -
Just because your fit note says not fit for work dwp still class you as a job seeker until you have been assessed by them
Your work coach can switch off your appts or do them by phone but that is at their discretion
You need to attend to avoid possible sanction discuss future appt with your work coach

You can ask your work coach for a telephone appointment. However, i see your appointment is for today so if you can't contact someone to ask for it to be changed then you will need to attend. Not doing so could see you be sanctioned.

If you can't physically go then you need to tell them that and ask for phone appt maybe you should have contacted them before today
In essence no they can't force you but they can sanction you and with hold payments
Have you attended the job centre before if you have then they will presume you can attend if you have done so before
I'm only advising I don't make the rules sorry if you don't like the fact0 -
Hi janer1967 i did not bother phoning yesterday because i felt alright i woke up with a real bad headache from nerve pain. The pain makes me angry i snap at the slightest thing ive already been switched to a new advisor as i had a argument. Im on the opposite side of the room now and have security follow me everywhere they have changed my appointments to phone call now. i get on with my new advisor he has been researching my condition. sorry if i offended u i did not mean to your advise was good i get phone calls now thanksjaner1967 said:If you can't physically go then you need to tell them that and ask for phone appt maybe you should have contacted them before today
