Hello, I applied for PIP and got a text on Wednesday morning saying I have been awarded PIP. Can someone tell me as I waited till Friday thinking 3 days it'd have been paid but now Saturday, nothing. I am getting anxious and can't think. Please someone kindly reassure me and advise me. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the community
It takes around 3 to 5 working days for payment to be cleared in your bank once it has been processed so could be next week1 -
Hey thanks for the reply. Would you know what day? Thanks0

Sorry I can't say which dat it depends when they processed the payment and how long it takes to ckead your bank0

Oh ok, I just wanted an idea because if it's processed om Wednesday and day 3 to 5 working days what are the working days? Because I tried calling them today (Saturday) but it's shut. That's why. It just keeps making me anxious. Lol I keep checking my bank.janer1967 said:Sorry I can't say which dat it depends when they processed the payment and how long it takes to ckead your bank0 -
Saturday is not a working day. Working days are Monday to Friday. I would say you should receive it by the middle of the week. You don't need to constantly check your bank because it's very unlikely to be paid at any point during the day, it will be in your bank in the early hours of a morning, which ever time your bank clears the funds. Mine is usually after 3am.Other than that we can only speculate when it will be paid because we don't know when payment was made exactly. The only ones that can tell you this is PIP.0

I am feeling really anxious. I don't know why, I ain't even sleeping. It's such a weird feeling. I think it's because I have severe anxiety and depression. Maybe that's why.L_Volunteer said:You are welcome @Sashastar, it is the very least you deserve. How are you feeling about waiting until next week at the moment?

Please try to think about something else. You’ve been awarded PIP and the money they owe you will be in your bank sometime this week.Sashastar said:

If you don’t receive it by tomorrow morning you can ring PIP and they will tell you when it’s due to go into your bank.0
