Hi my name is Badger55! When will I get my first payment and will I be entitled to any back payment?

Hi I’m new to this site and first question…. My first medical fit note was 29th of March, I had my work capability assessment on 14/10/22, my award letter is dated 01/11/22 saying I have been awarded lwrca, when will I get my first payment and will I be entitled to any back payment? TIA for any reply

    It will depend on what date you usually receive your money each month. This is because there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition, providing you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made on your claim.
    Based on limited information, your first payment will be either July or August.
