MR - do you still get the current award?

Hi,
I have received the assessment report (it only took a day to arrive the in post - I was very surprised), have added up my points and read the assessors comments very carefully.
If the decision maker goes with the report (which I believe they do most of the time), then I would be awarded only standard daily living.
There are several of the descriptors where I disagree with the points and the comments, so I already know I will put in for a MR (unless the decision maker awards more points than the assessor, which is unrealistic).
Would I be paid the award given whilst going through a MR and maybe a tribunal?

Thank you.
For the MR, can I send in additional evidence to support why I think I should have been awarded a certain descriptor? Or will they only consider the evidence they currently have?0 -
You can send extra evidence at anytime.

Thank you
I'm going to start compiling it all now.
How long would a MR take, from when I declare to Pip that I want one?0 -
That's not as long as I thought it could be
Is an MR done via post or an online portal? My original pip forms were all done online0 -

You can either use this form https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/challenge-a-decision-made-by-the-department-for-work-and-pensions-dwp and then print it and send it. Or you can write a letter and send it to PIP. You should state exactly where and why you think you should have scored those points.
