I rang pop last week as I was baffled about my report, they had written the information I had given and what I struggle with and told mostly the truth but then put 0 in every discriptor and it just made no sense at all. However on the phone the lady asked me some questions and said someone may be in touch. I rang today to see if I had a case manager assigned yet. The lady on the phone said it’s been sent back to the assessors due to some discrepancies! I’m left baffled! Anyone else had this. The assessor basically wrote all my info and it’s pretty severe with how I am suffering. But just 0 on every descriptor

I’ve heard this happen a few times. It doesn’t mean anything other than the report was returned. Once it’s back with DWP a decision can take 2-12 weeks.

After doing some research I have reread my report. I glanced over the descriptor page and focused more on the written text. I didn’t undertand the terminology so I just read what I understood. Anyway, looking back in it now I can understand it more I am flabbergasted at the recommendations and why restrictions not supported. The nurse pressed copy and paste for everyone but added a couple diffferrny words on the end. I.e so she should be able to prepare food independently, she should be able to plan a journey. She keeps repeating herself and saying although she cannot do these things this is inconsistent as her medication has recently been reduced showing it is not ineffective and she should be able to have no problem socialising… etc. I told her my medication had been reduced becuase it wasn’t working and I was getting worse so I have been referred to a pysciatrist but in the meantime the doctor has reduced the dose as I will need to wean myself off this one’s before I can go on a new one. So he wanted to get the boll rolling while waiting for an appointment with the mental health team. And she has fabricated it and said as my medication has been decreased I should have no problem doing all these things. There is a copy of a referral from my doctor in the evidence explaining why my dose has been decreased and that I need to see a specialist to change medication as my health is deteriorating.

All you can do now is wait for the decision. Once it's made if you're not happy you can request the MR.
