Hello,
I had to claim UC on the 19.06.2022
My payday is the 25th each month.
I handed my first sicknote in on the 12.07 - 12.09.2022, the next one was for 06.09.- 06.11.2022.On the 01.11.2022 I had a phone assessment and got Lwcra awarded on the 04.11.2022 When would I get the first Lcwra payment? Does it come with the UC payment or extra? Is the there a back payment? Thank you

There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the LCVWRA element is then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.Your waiting period will be July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct...LCWRA starts from assessment period 19th Oct to 18th Nov and first payment will be 25th Nov. No LCWRA element is owed.LCWRA is £354.28 per month and it's paid in with your usually payment on 25th of each month.1

Based on the limited information your first LCWRA payment will be either April or May 2023. No LCWRA element is owed. When it's paid from exactly will depend on the exact date you sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.Your decision was made extremely quick.0
