Waiting for PIP

Hello everyone my Name is Nat 
and waiting for a decision from pip is driving me crazy I applied in march had a assessment phone call but had a problem with my phone so they had to reschedule so I had my assignment on the 12 Oct got a txt to say the have received report on the 14th of Oct then received another txt saying they haven't made a decision on the 28th I rung them on Tuesday this week and the man said they should of made a decision and that he was going to get it fast tracked... and to ring back Friday so here I am I'm going to give them a ring today with still no answer.
Has anyone had a similar experience?

    It's a waiting game with pip
    Try and focus on other things if you can.
    I applied in June and had my assessment in August,  am still waiting for a decision.  
    From what I have read on here, (scope) it takes 12 weeks to get a decision.

    It takes up to 12 weeks for DWP to make a decision after getting the report, as you refer to in your post, so you might not get a decision until after Christmas. You may get it sooner,

    It's really difficult to say exactly when you'll get your decision, unfortunately, as it varies quite a lot. 

    Is there anything you can do to help to keep yourself calm while you wait?
