Lost sick note for UC

I was issued a 2 month sick note but have lost it, I then was told on my journal it was about to expire and to issue dates for another.

I just got another 2 month sick note but it's been emailed to me this time instead of physical so I have evidence of this note not the physical one.

My work coach has left messages saying she accepts my sick notes on information I have provided but to hold onto them just incase she needs to see them in future.

When I get out forward for a WCA this could mean I've lost 2 months backpay if I qualify for LCWRA?

Any help appreciated thank you.

Did you give the details of the fit note that you lost? If you did then that's fine but UC may ask to see that fit note at some point. You should speak to your GP to see if they can issue a duplicate fit note for the one you lost.

On my UC account it gives you the option to add fit note and you just enter the dates of your fit note.

That's all, no details or information is needed.

I haven't heard of a duplicate fit note would the dwp even accept a duplicate fit note if I was to be able to get one ?

    Thanks for the respone poppy.

Yes i know you add the details of your fit note but keep the fit note just incase UC ask to see it at a later date.
If you lost the first fit note then you need to ask your GP for another, yes UC will accept the duplicate but you need to make sure it has the same dates on of the fit note you lost.

Of course, they may never ask to see it anyway.
