Am I allowed to be the main driver on my mate's motability car?

Hello I’m new on here so I receive pip enhanced on both but I’ve got a mate that receives pip also and wants me to be main driver on his pip motability car is this allowed and will I be allowed to or will it affect my pip ?by any chance just need help if anyone can help me out ?

Claiming PIP yourself doesn’t mean you can’t be a named driver on someone else motability car.
Your friend will first need to ring motability and you will need to be with them when they do. They will need to speak to you and take details of your driving license. The car must only be used for the purpose of your friend.0 -

A motablity customer can have up to 3 named drivers on their vehicle, at no extra charge.However, if you are under 25 then there are restrictions on the vehicles you can drive, for petrol, diesel or hybrid it’s up to 120bhp. For electric it’s up to 140bhp.2
