in Start here and say hello!
i have GCA/PMR i am a carer for my husband. I am unable to work can i get 
any disability benefits to help with my extra costs.

    Thanks for explaining that you're living with Giant cell arteritis (GCA) and Polymyalgia rheumatica (PMR). 

    You might like to use a benefits calculator to help work out what you might be entitled to. 

    Scope also has plenty of information on benefits, and other ways of funding the extra costs of being disabled, which I hope you will find useful.

    Welcome to the community I know you can definitely get benefits and your husband can too. If you have a look on Citizens Advice they can provide you with further advice.

    That's not exactly correct. There's no benefits that are awarded based on any diagnosis.

    If you're under state pension age then you can look at claiming PIP. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/
    Whether you're entitled to any other benefits will totally depend on your circumstances. You haven't given any information for anyone to be able to advise you further. You can get a full benefits check from an agency near you.
