When exactly did you first claim UC and were you eligible for a payment for an assessment period that ended between 26th August and 25th September?

Hi good morning all,
I passed my UC assessment 7th of September0 -
If you haven't reported the missing payment you can do that here. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment#report-a-missing-cost-of-living-payment

Thankyou poppy
I did report it already but have not heard back from them yet,
Hopefully I will soon0 -
Going by other COL payments that weren't paid when they were supposed to be then you could be waiting a few weeks at least.

Sorry I meant had my assessment 7 September..first payment was October 130

In which case your UC monthly period appears o be from 7th to the 6th of the month and your first UC assessment period was 7th September to 6th October. That implies you claimed UC on 7th September so I'm still not clear what you mean by having your assessment.Tina12 said:Sorry I meant had my assessment 7 September..first payment was October 13
If your first UC payment was on 13th October and your first AP was 7th September to 6th October then you do not qualify for the CoL because the end of the AP is outside the qualifying dates.1 -
Tina12 said:Sorry I meant had my assessment 7 September..first payment was October 13When you previously stated 7th September, i took that as you had your first payment on this date. If you started your claim on 7th September then your assessment period is as calcotti mentioned above. An assessment period starts on the first day you claim and lasts for 30 days each month. You then receive your money at the end of that assessment period. This is the qualifying criteria...You will be eligible for the second Cost of Living Payment of £324 if you were entitled to a payment (or later found to be entitled to a payment) of Universal Credit for an assessment period that ended in the period 26 August 2022 to 25 September 2022.If this is a new claim then you don't qualify for the CoL payment of £324.
