    Good luck @Teddybear12

Yum yum @Sandy_123 :yum: I didn't know you could buy folic acid tablets. I was prescribed them but the doctor only prescribed them once, he didn't do a repeat prescription, now I've run out so had to stop taking them.

@66Mustang folic acid tablets are available widely.  Ladies take them when trying to get pregnant and early stages of pregnancy

However there are diffetent dosage levels and the higher level are only available on prescription

@janer1967 thanks. I was prescribed 5mg a day, I don't know if that's a high dose. I was given it because after a blood test to check my liver function it was found that I was low on folic acid. To be honest I haven't noticed a difference in how I am whether I am taking it or not!

    Afternoon all
@Johan_bradford glad it works for you

I'm back she didn't have one because I won't eat them. I only eat veggy hot dogs. So we went 4 lunch at the pub. Picked a few things up.

Good afternoon all you lovely's i've still been chipping away at getting Christmas up in the house, we've decided were going to reduce even more next year, getting to much to do now.
I don't think the cold mist has lifted at all today, very glum looking outside.
Hope your all well and warm x

@66Mustang I was on them for a long time when trying to conceive and the whole way through pregnancy on a higher dose not sure what the dosage was

This isn't what always happens the norm is to take just up to 12 weeks of pregnancy . Being diabetic and had a prev miscarriage was the reasoning

I'm like you though never noticed any difference taking them or not

I take them because a blood test said I had a deficiency In folic acid. They give a script for it as it's over counter but I take it as part as a multivitamin. They have done bloods to Check it but no @SueHeath
Well that was clever made a coffee with out boiling the kettle

Just a thought @Johan_bradford wasn't sure if you were feeling a little anxious about joining the group, some people do worry about chatting to strangers, but we are a great bunch of people, with our own demons, it's a great place for chats and making new online friends. I find it a great distraction from my aches and pains as well.
