Thank you for joining us!
Could I just check what you've been awarded, so that I'm clear? Have you been awarded LCWRA, after having your work capability assessment last month?1 -
If the decision was Limited capability for work (LCW) there's no extra money each month. If the decision was Limited capability for work Related Activity (LCWRA) then you'll receive extra money from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. Please have another read of the decision letter to see exactly what that decision is.1

First payment will be either Dec 2021 or Jan 2022 depending on the exact date you reported your health/sent first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.

As poppy says it is payable from either December or January depending on the exact date you reported your health/sent first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.
I'm not clear if you mean you reported on 21st September 2021 or sometime in September 2021 (although in your opening post you said August). You haven't said when you are normally paid.
It does often take several weeks to calculate arrears due.0
