Hi everyone.  I have just had a text saying I have been awarded my PIP. How long does it take to receive your money.

    3-5 working days from when payment was sent.

    Hello everyone, 

     I called dwp today and i was told that i have been awarded pip enchance for both and a letter has been sent.
    I  did not get any text.
     I applied June, had assessment 25th August Dwp got the report 26th August And today Friday the 25 of November, I was awarded pip.

    Thanks for sharing your experience @Queenv27 :) Not everyone seems to get a text, so that's nothing to worry about I don't think. Well done on getting your award! How are you feeling about it?

    You should let UC know. It won’t have any bad effect but it will make you exempt from the benefit cap

    Hey guys just read the posts and I have had the text around four days ago so not sure if it’s a postcode thing I’m in Birmingham so if anyone else has had the text in my area I am just waiting on my letter now to see what they have awarded me but at this point and the anxiety of waiting the last 6 months anything is better then nothing I’m just glad they now can see that I have major issues with my health and that PIP will help me manage that again thanks guys for helping me it means a lot even though I wasn’t signed up yet I was still looking at this site and all your posts for weeks now you are all amazing people keep being amazing and kind to each other

    So finally I got my pip award text at 8.08am today.
