Does Christmas start when the Coca Cola advert airs?

There are so many Christmas adverts, but as soon as I hear “holidays are coming”, it’s Christmas! Does anyone else feel the same way?
Is there something else that comes around and you instantly say, “it’s now Christmas”?

For me it's when I have done the last of the Xmas shopping, usually a few days before Xmas Eve and early, before the shops get packed. After shopping I have a drink in a pub before the rush starts, and I think it is time to relax. Xmas starts here.0

That sounds very nice @Steve_in_The_City and certainly organised.
It can be a real struggle sometimes to feel ready and relaxed enough before Christmas starts, but giving yourself that time is a positive thing to do
I know in my parent's house, Christmas starts once that advert hits our screens, so I guess I'm biased!0 -
I know it’s christmas time when I hear two songs, one is BIng Crosby’s White Christmas and the other is Two Thousand miles by the Pretenders.0

I'm now going to have "Holidays are coming" stuck in my head. But I definitely feel it's ok to start being more openly Christmassy when I know that advert has aired

How magical that you have certain things you watch as a family @Grinchy, especially at Christmas time! Hope you enjoy your son being home for Christmas
