    Oh wow, I always thought Pinky and The Brain was a remake, haha. 

    Thats so sweet! 🥰 Oh, for a rabbit to do tricks, I think you should have another to train, win Britain's Got Talent. I've learnt something new; I just thought it was just dogs who couldn't eat chocolate.

    Oh :( such a shame. I once went through my aunts' pictures and there was my teddy, sat at the table at a family gathering. 

    I love going back to revisit and take a trip down memory lane. It's lovely to hear that you had such solace in Pinky and the school could see that. 

    I love the name Pip, what made you think of that? My Gwen is a collie, she is as soppy as anything too. Funny thing is, she doesn't like to walk! She hides if we say "walkies".

    I can't recall how I came to name Pip - it was still in the days of B&W television! I bet you spoil your Gwen at Xmas. I have never heard of a dog who didn't like walkies, but I knew someone who had a GSD that would run upstairs and hide under a bed whenever someone knocked on the front door.

    I think I’ll always remember my big sister buying me a pair of boxing gloves and a sheath knife for Christmas, my parents didn’t like me having a knife as I was only nine but I used it in the woods for carving spears and arrows and the like. Harmless fun in those days.

    I am a rather naive person, and float along quite happily in my own world half the time. One Christmas a few years ago my daughter came for Christmas and stayed a few days. We normally exchange presents mid-morning while the turkey is cooking, but before all the veg have to go on the stove. My daughter is a nanny and so she tends to get lots more presents than us, from current and previous families. We waited until all her presents were opened, and I was about to put the roast potatoes in the oven when she said "But I have saved the best present until last - you are going to be a grandad, as I am 3 months pregnant". I was made up, because I must have been the only one in the family not to have recognised the signs. The best surprise present I could ever had hoped for.
