Was there an outrageous or hilarious gift you had on your letter to Santa as a kid?

When writing letters to Santa, I am from the generation of cutting things out of the old Argos catalogue but there were one or two items Argos didn’t stock.

Santa reading a list and waving to the camera

For instance, one year our lovely @Hannah_Scope asked for a unicorn, and at around 6 or 7 asked for a butler!

Whilst, my wishes were arguably more low key  :D  One year, I wanted a big yellow tea pot and was proud as punch to find one under the tree.  And I have similar memories of being chuffed to bits with my pretend post office counter and Sega master system!

What did everybody here have on their lists to Santa? Fill us in below.

I asked for a real pony and I got a sindy doll stable and horse

Was a blessing really as after having 1 riding lesson which resulted in very bad fall I never wanted to get on a horse ever again
