How long after Christmas, is it acceptable to wear a Christmas jumper?

I was present shopping and saw a lovely Christmas jumper I knew my friend would love. The problem was, if I gifted it to her, she wouldn’t get as much wear out of it until next year.
It sparked the question, how long can you wear Christmas jumpers for, after Christmas Day?

If it’s just a festive jumper then all winter, but if it’s blatantly a Christmas only jumper then yes, just for the week or so. However, these days anything goes so who would really mind.0

I disliked every Christmas jumper I was given so I'd say not even on Christmas day should a Xmas jumper be worn lol just my opinion 🤣😉 ( sorry to the people who like them)0

I suppose till January I don't ware them0

I wear mine as long as possible. I'd probably go up to New Years eve to maximise the cost per wear metric
What's on everyone's Christmas jumper? Mine is a reindeer that's antlers light up!0 -
I had one with a sock on the front, gave it to my son.0

I always think this about buying Christmas themed items for Christmas, so tend not to.
Things like Christmas clothing as well as toiletries, alcohol, candles or jigsaws etc. Really people would prefer those early in December. I certainly wouldn't want to be constantly reminded of Xmas past once we've entered January!
Only exception would be something like chocolate or biscuits where they'll be used up within the week.0 -
I would say Christmas day!0
