I used to love Spot the Dog @Globster what a great discussion idea

I also liked the 'Magic Key' books, with Biff, Chip and Kipper, and 'A Very Hungry Caterpillar' too!0 -
Twizzle, I still have a partial copy but the whole book is now worth a fortune.0

My auntie brought me the Winnie the Witch books by Valerie Thomas and Korky Paul when I was a kid.
They are called Winnie and Wilbur now. I actually brought them for my cousin's little girl for her birthday this year. It was almost like passing on a tradition.0 -
Hello @Globster. What a great question you have asked!
As a child, it had to be the Tracy Beaker series or Disney classics. Having said that, I know it changed every year when I was younger

my favourite as a child were the Beatrix potter books, I had a lot of those, still do somewhere 😂. After that, from what I can remember, it was hetty feather and the books that came after, like emerald. I also read a lot of Disney classics and enjoyed miss peregrines home for peculiar children just before my teen years.0
