Thanks @Sandy_123 and @SueHeath ! I just got back, Saltram was lovely and we had hot drinks then got fish and chips and did a food shop. Not a huge amount of activity but I get tired quickly these days. Made friends with a cat outside the chippy, she was very friendly

Hi everyone. Home now, busy morning so chilling out just made a cuppa.
@janer1967 I hope everything is okay for you, going out will be just fine- it’s just the way back which would be the most annoying to me especially wanting to get home!!! I suppose as Border Force, if you target the busiest airports you’ll force the government to speak out. What did you get to eat? @Sandy_1230 -
Cheese and mushroom omelette chip and salad @bg844
Glad you had a good time @JoOfVengerberg
Sad news by me 3 boys have died and 1 is critical, playing on a lake that had frozen and the ice broke.

Oh my @Sandy_123 you must live close to me - so so sad breaks your heart.
Been back in the house about an hour now and finally finished getting the Christmas presents. x0 -
It's been on the news about the boys in the lake it's tragic
So cold today got 2 pairs trousers on and sweatshirt and fleece can't remember being this cold
Glad you got sorted @SueHeath and @Sandy_123 and @JoOfVengerberg have both had nice day out.1 -
We were trying to think what last winter was like, can't remember if we had a cold snap this bad, don't think the dull, misty weather has lifted at all round here, the highest temp the car was showing was 1 - we haven't had much snow tho, so glad we choose to visit my sister in Cheltenham last week.
I'm glad we've finished as well @janer1967 ha ha x0 -
Glad you've finished @SueHeath
Its freezing @janer1967
I've got nothing now to do only thing I need to do us go to the cemetery put some fresh flowers down. It's 9 miles from me but maybe friday

I'd pace yourself @Sandy_123 going out in this weather darling, hopefully the weather will warm up a bit soon, i bet the price of flowers are going up already knowing people take flowers to the cemetery's at this time of year. I know its winter and i'm feeling old but does seem to be worst weather at the moment, roll on the summer ha ha x0
-
I know to think we were moaning about the heat a few months ago, rather have it then this. Proper winter this year0
-
Think I will have to leave tye heating on while we are away bit of waste but don't want to come back to frozen pipes etc will put it on low
Glad I don't have to go anywhere this week0 -
That's a thought @janer1967, have you tested your heating make sure it stays on the frost free setting. x0
-
Good thinking @janer1967 x0
