Awarded pip and wondering amount paid

Hello, I had a text this morning saying I was awarded pip. I rang the helpline to enquire about the amount and it was £627.60 for 11th Jan. I assume this is enhanced for both daily living and mobility?
Will the backdated money be up to today, or 11th Jan when I am due to get my text payment? Or am I right to assume I get the £627 payment a month in the future if that makes sense as it's 4 weeks being 11th Jan? Will my payment also be every 4 weeks from the payment date 11th Jan? Thank you - have done lots of reading on this site, will be applying for UC and carers element next, appreciate everyone's help.

    PIP is paid 4 weeks in arrears. That amount does suggest it's Enhanced for both parts, however the automated payment line has been known to give incorrect advice quite often so i wouldn't rely on that information.
    The money owed will be from the date you rang to start your claim up until a certain point (somewhere around when the decision was made) providing you didn't transfer from DLA and/or you had your conditions for at least 3 months when you first applied.
    Your decision letter will tell you what dates the owed money is paid from and to and what day of the week you will usually be paid.

    Ahh OK I will keep that in mind thank you. The assessor's report was suggesting enhanced for both, so I have my fingers crossed and it does look positive for that outcome from the DM. It's a new application, so I will keep an eye out for the backdated payment and letter - I hardly get letters atm due to the strikes but hopefully I don't have to wait too long to find out.     You're welcome. Then it may well be Enhanced for both parts as they do usually go with the report (lots of personal experience) though it has been know for them to go against it but it's rare.
    Yes the postal strikes will delay receiving the letter unfortunately.

    May I ask what number you need to ring to get the automated PIP line re: payments date? I have had my back pay but still haven’t received my award letter so have no idea when to expect my first payment. Thanks in advance. X

    It's the helpline option 6. However, as advicsed it's known to give incorrect information.

    Hello, just to confirm on this thread that I received back payment 3 working days after the text - and a letter a few days later. I have been awarded enhanced for both daily and mobility and I am shocked in a good way, this is going to help me out so much :)

    Hello. I’m new here and received a text message on 21st that I was awarded pip. I was just wondering about you’ve said and I’m not sure if I understand correctly- if I’ve been awarded it’s more likely to get enhanced on both that the basic ? Is that what they doing if you are lucky enough to get it at the first time ? Also, what’s the most common renewal dates ? It’s a year ? 2? 5?

    An award can be any possible combination of either or both the two components at either of the standard or enhanced rates. There is no ‘more likely’ award.

    I’m sure there are some statistics on award lengths but each award depends on  the reasons for the award.
