Hi my partner applied for pip had a text message last Monday saying hes been awarded and we are waiting for the letter still. However last Wednesday he received payment of £287 not sure if this is what's been awarded it doesn't add up to any of the amounts plus should have got 5 weeks back pay
Does anyone have any idea

That’s a very fast timescale! How much is owed will depend on the cut off date of when he was paid up until.
Based on 5 weeks it could be standard daily living at £61.85/week. He can either ring PiP to ask or wait for the decision letter to arrive.1 -

Thank you for joining us!
I can see that poppy123456 has already given you some advice on this, which I hope has helped. Well done to your partner on their successful PIP award. How did they find the assessment?0 -
He found it fine had a video assessment which I belive is a new thing much easier for him as he struggles with mobility0

I could be wrong, but I believe they started rolling out video assessments during the pandemic @jofitz
So relatively new, yes! I'm glad that he found that a more accessible way of doing it. Was the technical side of things okay? 0 -
Oh i thought it was newer than the pandemic 🙈
Technical side was brilliant too it just seems like the process has been really quick and i have heard it takes around 20 weeks0 -
That sounds really positive @Jofitz. Thanks for sharing that with us.
I am sure your experiences will be invaluable for anyone experiencing anything similar. How are you feeling about everything at the moment?
