I'm feeling a bit better today, thank you to who asked.
Yesterday was my worst day physically for probably 10 years, I just felt awful in every way!!!
I think the antibiotics must be kicking in now. Apparently they work quite quickly and I was told to take a double dose to start off the treatment.
I did weigh myself today and I've lost 4 pounds over the last few days of being ill, which is nice.

It sounds like you have made positive differences to support yourself @JoOfVengerberg. Well done you.
However, I can hear how your headspace changes your experience. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you would like to talk about this further or need any further support1 -
Hi @JoOfVengerberg thanks for the kind words. I’m sorry if my comment about my weight caused problems. As someone who myself has issues which are triggered by certain topics I understand but I don’t really know the solution. I don’t want others not to talk about things for my benefit because if we removed everyone’s triggers there would be nothing left. That said I will try from now on to not talk about that topic when you are about if it helps. I hope you have a nice rest of the day today

@L_Volunteer @66Mustang Thank you both. I'm not asking for everyone's triggers to be removed because that's not fair, but I do feel that weight in general is a really tricky topic? Like there are implications of fatphobia (I used to have a LOT of that) and it might be uncomfortable for people in general. I don't know. It just seems like one of those socially accepted things that really can hurt others but it's never deliberate. I don't have the solution either, I just think lots of people don't think about how comments like that can come across. Hugs to all0
