Town Centre being made Disabled free

My local town centre is being made "disabled free"
I mean this as it sounds - Free of those annoying people who have trouble walking !!
They are pedestrianising the whole thing and had not even considered where blue badge holders will park their cars - previously we were allowed to park directly on the main shopping street - but no longer.
The nearest car park is half a mile away from the shops - so that means that I will no longer be able use my local town centre shops.
Thoughless or what ?

I reckon that he's getting a backhander from the developers0 -
@Wibbles I would suggest emailing still.
Maybe contact to VoiceAbility, see if they can recommend anything that would help?0
